The Navarrian tenor José Luis Sola began his musical studies at the    
Escolanía Niños Cantores de Navarra and later he studied with the    
tenor Ricardo Visus. In 2002 he received an extraordinary    
scholarship of the Navarrian Government and was awarded at the    
Julián Gayarre and Bilbao Singing Competitions.
Besides most of the symphonic and choral works, his repertory    
includes titles as Don Pasquale, Lucia de Lammermoor, Lucrezia    
Borgia, La Fille du Regiment, La Sonnambula, Die Zauberflöte, Don    
Giovanni, Die Entführung aus dem Serail, L´Italiana in Algeri, Il    
Turco in Italia, L’equivoco stravagante, La Traviata, Falstaff,    
Rigoletto, Les Pêcheurs de Perles, Manon, Faust, Dialogues des    
Carmélites and the zarzuelas Doña Francisquita, El Caserío or Juan    
José, roles that he has sung in the main Spanish theatres as well as    
Italy, Germany, United States, Brazil, Costa Rica and Guatemala,    
among others.
Recent and future engagements include La Grande-Duchesse de    
Gérolstein at the Teatro de la Zarzuela of Madrid, El Caserío at the    
Teatros del Canal of Madrid, Viva Madrid in Oman, El Juez in Vienna,    
The Pearl Fishers in Dubai, I Capuleti ed i Montecchi in Oviedo, Don    
Giovanni in Bilbao, and also several concerts and recitals.
